Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in students' lives as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position is based onsite, serving a diverse K-12 student caseload near the scenic Hornbrook, CA region. The assignment will begin on August 17, 2026 and conclude June 11, 2027, offering you the chance to contribute meaningfully across an entire academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California Previous experience in a school-based OT role or similar pediatric setting Comfortable working across K-12 grade levels Strong ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services and interventions to students in accordance with IEP goals and school policies Conduct assessments to identify student needs and recommend appropriate accommodations or equipment Document progress, maintain compliance with required reports and timelines Consult with staff and parents regarding strategies to enhance student participation and success within the educational environment Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities as required This contract offers a stable, full-time schedule throughout the school year, allowing you to build strong connections with students and school teams.
