School Occupational Therapist | Mill Valley, California

Job Description

Bring your expertise in Occupational Therapy to support K-12 students during the upcoming academic year! This rewarding part-time contract role offers the opportunity to split your impact between two school districts near Mill Valley and San Rafael, serving diverse student populations with varying needs.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in California required Previous experience as a school-based OT, especially working with pediatric populations, highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams Ability to travel between district sites as assigned Adaptability and a student-centered approach to supporting IEPs and interventions
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students identified with needs in both Mill Valley and San Rafael districts Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to support students' educational goals Collaborate closely with general/special education teachers, families, and related service professionals Participate in student evaluations, IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with required documentation and state regulations Provide direct and consultative OT services, adaptations, and accommodations for optimal student access and participation
