Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract position for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year, providing essential occupational therapy services to students across K-12. With an immediate start and a commitment through June 11, 2027, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive educational environment. Working onsite, you'll serve a diverse caseload, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster student independence and success.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Active Occupational Therapist license in California School-based OT experience is highly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in a K-12 setting Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learning needs and age groups Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Proven organizational and time management skills to manage a full-time caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy to students with developmental, physical, or emotional challenges Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student goals and accommodations Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Educate staff and families on OT strategies and tools to support classroom participation and daily living skills Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to use your expertise to positively shape students' educational journeys.
