Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role where youll make a significant difference in the lives of children across Pre-K, elementary, and middle school settings. As a skilled Occupational Therapist, youll support students in reaching their developmental and educational goals, working collaboratively with educators and families in a vibrant school environment. Your expertise in pediatric therapy will help students gain greater independence, improve fine and gross motor skills, and foster success both in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with strong pediatric experience Proven ability to work with early childhood, elementary (K5), and middle school populations Deep understanding of developmental milestones and intervention strategies for school-aged children Skilled in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Confident assessing and addressing fine and gross motor skill delays Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities Adaptable to fast-paced, multi-site educational environments
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy Provide both direct intervention and consultative support for teachers and families Integrate therapy into daily classroom routines and curriculum Track progress meticulously, maintaining organized records in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams Support staff in implementation of classroom accommodations and modifications
