This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate professional dedicated to empowering students of all abilities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT license in Colorado Experience delivering therapy in school-based settings preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions and IEP processes Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and strengths Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligning with educational goals Provide direct interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation Collaborate with educators to modify learning environments and classroom materials for accessibility Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student achievement Offer guidance to staff and parents on strategies to encourage student independence
