Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the entire school year. This contract role is perfect for passionate OT professionals who want to make a difference in a dynamic educational setting. With both on-site and teletherapy responsibilities, you'll utilize your specialized skills to help students reach their full potential academically, socially, and developmentally.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Comfortable delivering therapy both in-person and via teletherapy platforms Strong foundation in fine and gross motor skills development Skilled in adapting therapy plans for a wide spectrum of K-12 students Excellent communication and collaboration skills Current state licensure and required certifications
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct OT services to students across all grade levels Assess and document students' abilities and needs in relation to academic success Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions Engage in occupational therapy assessments and participate in IEP meetings Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal requirements Integrate assistive technology and teletherapy as needed
