Qualifications & Experience:
Valid occupational therapy license and COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) credentials for schools Proven experience providing OT services in an educational or pediatric environment Proficiency in assessing and addressing occupational needs related to fine and gross motor skills Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and school teams Excellent communication abilities and a compassionate, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy plans focused on improving fine and gross motor skills for students Deliver engaging, evidence-based OT interventions in classroom and individual settings Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate strategies that promote student success across school activities Track student progress, document sessions, and adjust interventions based on evolving needs Educate and support families to reinforce therapy goals at home Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and guidance for student growth This contract position lets you apply your specialized skills in a dynamic school community where your contributions are highly valued.
