Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Florida (or eligibility to obtain) Previous school-based OT experience preferred Strong understanding of pediatric therapy principles and individualized education programs (IEPs) Ability to evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to each students needs Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs Develop targeted therapy goals and interventions in alignment with IEP requirements Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in individual or group sessions Document progress regularly and contribute to IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support student participation in academic and daily activities Educate and provide resources to teachers and parents to encourage skill generalization across environments
