Role:

Physical 4 U Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team in Miami Lakes, FL! Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and functional skills Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PTs, SLPs, and physicians to coordinate patient care Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs Recommend and fit adaptive equipment and assistive devices as needed Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and standards of practice

Requirements:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Florida state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain) NBCOT certification required or in process Previous clinical experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or similar setting preferred Strong knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
