Overview Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist (Outpatient)
Location:
Winter Haven, FLSchedule:
Full‑time | Monday-Friday (flexible hours)
Compensation:
Starting at $72,000+ annually, based on experience
Incentives:
$10,000 sign‑on bonus | $350/month student loan assistance Outpatient orthopedic clinic seeking a full‑time Occupational Therapist with a hand therapy focus. Candidates may include new graduates with Level II hand fieldwork, OTs with 1+ year of hand therapy experience, or CHTs (preferred, not required).
Caseload includes:
tendon injuries, sprains/strains, post‑operative fractures; splinting preferred.

Responsibilities Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers. Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care. Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy. National registration and state licensure or registration
REQUIRED
to start. Newly licensed OT graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year current hand therapy Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Valid state driver's license
