Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and well-being as an Occupational Therapist focused on elementary school populations. This dynamic role centers around providing essential OT services across two elementary schools and to one private school student. This is a maternity leave coverage position, based in the Acworth, GA area and spanning from November 2nd through January 29th, with a possible extension through February 26th. What We're Looking For:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required (Georgia preferred) Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred Flexibility to travel between Clear Creek Elementary School (Cartersville, GA) and Pine Log Elementary School (Rydal, GA) Commitment to a full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group OT services to a diverse caseload of elementary school students, as well as one private school student Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress appropriately Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure optimal support for students Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions
