Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' growth and independence as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school-based setting near Buchanan, GA. This contract-to-hire position gives you the flexibility to choose either full-time or part-time hours, with placement available as soon as possible through the end of the school year. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help students reach their fullest potential. Your expertise will make a daily difference, empowering learners with strategies and skills for academic and functional success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state Experience in school-based OT practice preferred, but not required Familiarity with IEP process and documentation Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the school setting Collaborate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing progress updates Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classrooms and other school environments Support teachers with strategies to enhance student success and participation Maintain required documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
