Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist in a K-12 school setting. Enjoy the rewarding experience of working directly with children and young people, supporting their learning, development, and well-being throughout the academic year. This is a contract opportunity for a caring OT seeking hands-on engagement with students and collaboration with dedicated educators.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia Previous experience serving K-12 students is beneficial Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP process Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to create supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments Comfortable working in person in a school setting (in-person interaction is preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapy services to K-12 students to enhance their academic access and participation Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Assess, plan, and document student progress according to school standards Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within classroom environments Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insight for student program development Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulations Communicate progress and recommendations effectively with families and educators
