This contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact, working with a manageable caseload of 45-50 students, all while enjoying a collaborative school environment and the flexibility that comes with teletherapy.

What Youll Need:

Current and active TX SLP License (must be maintained throughout the assignment) Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy in a school-based setting Strong understanding of teletherapy best practices and technologies Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with students, families, and educational staff Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs across kindergarten through high school Tech-savvy approach and ability to document sessions within secure digital platforms

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to support educational access and student achievement Provide both virtual (teletherapy) and, as appropriate, in-person therapy sessions based on students Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals Conduct assessments, develop appropriate treatment plans, and monitor progress for each student Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school and district requirements Attend virtual meetings, conferences, and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach
