Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in DeWitt, IA. We work in a variety of settings including in our office in DeWitt, community settings like local daycares and libraries, or in patient's homes. We travel in and around the DeWitt area including into the Iowa Quad Cities.
Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate children's motor, sensory, and developmental needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs. Provide therapy to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support the child's progress at home and in school settings. Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and treatment adjustments. Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid Iowa OT license or eligibility for licensure. Experience working with children in a clinical, school, or healthcare setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.
