What You'll Do As an Occupational Therapist at ATWC, you will:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized and clinical assessments.
• Evaluate infants and children with challenges related to: sensory processing retained primitive reflexes autonomic nervous system regulation postural control motor coordination fine motor development visual motor integration executive functioning emotional regulation feeding and oral motor development
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving participation in meaningful daily occupations.
• Collaborate with families to develop meaningful functional goals that improve participation in home, school, play, and community environments.
• Collaborate daily with Speech-Language Pathologists and outside providers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in program development and contribute ideas that improve patient outcomes and clinic growth.
• Take and complete courses/trainings/certifications required to obtain necessary skills and competencies to compliment the holistic approach of the clinic (all paid for by the company).
• Maintain timely, high-quality documentation.

Required Qualifications :

Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy Current Illinois Occupational Therapy License CPR certificaion Experience working with children in an outpatient pediatric setting Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent clinical reasoning and organizational skills Preferred but not required: Experience with infant development Feeding experience Sensory integration experience Primitive reflex integration Bodywork training No experience in these specialty areas?
