Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist certification and state license are required Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adjust to different schedules and caseload sizes Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and faculty Dedication to fostering growth, independence, and participation for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services for K-12 students, supporting IEP goals and functional success in the school environment Evaluate students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, aides, and families Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings Adapt interventions as required, ensuring therapy is accessible and engaging for each student Contribute positively to district initiatives and professional development opportunities Enjoy the benefits of a supportive contract arrangement with a tentative, flexible schedule based on your assigned caseload.
