Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for a maternity leave position, scheduled from October 12 through November. This contract role provides the chance to work in a collaborative educational environment near Rising Sun, IN, ensuring continuity of care and therapy services for student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license, with eligibility for practice in Indiana Experience or strong interest in school-based OT Background providing therapy in home health, teletherapy, or broader healthcare settings Familiarity with educational documentation and IEP participation Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and caregivers Flexibility working with diverse caseloads and adapting to changing needs Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students on your assigned caseload Conduct ongoing assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and document services as required Utilize virtual or in-person methods as needed to ensure consistent care Support the school community by providing consultation to teachers and caregivers Assist in transition planning for students returning from or moving between therapy services Take advantage of this full-time, contract role and continue to make a positive impact in the field of pediatric occupational therapy.
