Job Description
Job Overview Therapy On Wheels is an outpatient therapy company that sees patients in their homes. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Occupational Therapist to do mobility evaluations for patients needing powerchairs/scooters. These one time visits are coordinated with a sales rep from the DME company, who you will work closely with. Experience is preferred but not a necessity. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments focused on mobility, balance, coordination, and functional movement to determine individual needs. Document clinical findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards and medical terminology. Educate patients and their families on mobility techniques, adaptive equipment use, and safety precautions to foster confidence and self-sufficiency.
