Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity providing Occupational Therapy support for students in a school-based setting. Collaborate with educational staff and families to help children reach their fullest potential through your expert care. This contract position offers a part-time schedule of 2-3 days per week, allowing for meaningful impact while enjoying work-life balance.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Previous experience with school-aged children preferred Understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff Flexibility and resourcefulness in a dynamic educational environment

Role Responsibilities:

Serve a dedicated caseload of approximately 30 students Assess and evaluate students' needs to determine appropriate interventions Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs Document progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Provide training and resources to teachers and support staff to facilitate carryover of skills in the classroom Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
