13-Week Contract | Day Shift Schedule Information 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday (schedule based on facility needs) Occupational Therapist Requirements Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Minimum of 2 years of recent occupational therapy experience Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles and occupational therapy treatment techniques Experience developing individualized treatment plans based on physician orders Ability to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities Strong communication and patient education skills Ability to maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Equipment Used Adaptive equipment Transfer and mobility devices Wheelchairs Therapy tools Strengthening and coordination equipment Electronic medical records (EMR) Standard occupational therapy equipment Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans according to physician orders and facility protocols Provide therapeutic activities to improve independence with daily living skills, mobility, coordination, strength, and functional performance Recommend, fit, and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and safety techniques Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case management, and rehabilitation team members Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and functional mobility activities Perform additional occupational therapy duties as assigned About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is hiring Occupational Therapists for a 13-week contract assignment in Versailles, KY.
