Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference by bringing your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to students across several grade levels! If you're passionate about supporting children's development and enjoy variety in your daily work, this contract opportunity is an excellent fit. Step into a dynamic onsite role, providing essential OT services as an itinerant therapist for K-12 students. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to make an impact across multiple campuses, collaborating with dedicated professionals and helping approximately 75-100 students reach their potential. With a schedule of 8am-4pm and the autonomy to travel among schools, you'll find both structure and diversity in your workday.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state Experience or interest in school-based OT practice Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families Ability to manage a regular schedule and organize caseload efficiently Familiarity with IEP development and progress documentation is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive OT assessments and interventions to K-12 students Implement individualized therapy plans and adapt activities to support student goals Travel as an itinerant OT to serve students at various school sites within the district Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure coordinated support Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
