Job Summary The Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in helping patients achieve independence and improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions. The Occupational Therapist will assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic activities for our short term rehab patients and long term care residents. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their occupational therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and progress. Provide direct patient care through therapeutic activities that enhance daily living skills. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, physical therapists and nursing staff, to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve functional abilities at home and in the community. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Skills Experience in clinic settings or skilled nursing facilities is preferred. Strong patient care skills with the ability to work compassionately with geriatric population. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively. Experience using PCC and Nethealth is preferred but not required. Must have flexibility to be able to pick up shifts weekdays as well as weekends.

From $55.00 per hour
