RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of authorized administrators shall: Deliver direct service to children in the following areas: sensory motor development, physical rehabilitation, perceptual deficits, gross and fine motor coordination, activities of daily living. Evaluate referred students, score tests and write educationally relevant reports. Participate as a member of screening and evaluation teams. Attend case conferences on placement of individual students. Help develop Individual Educational Plans. Provide training to the appropriate persons to carry over therapy goals in the school setting. Maintain pertinent records on all referred students. Assign and supervise caseload and responsibilities of the COTA. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the building principal or the Superintendent of Schools.

Salary and terms of employment will be commensurate with the Westfield Public Schools Unit A contract. Salary placement will be determined by information contained in appropriate application with supporting documentation.

Performance on this position will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Westfield School Committee policy on evaluation. This position subject to funding.
