Position Title:
Occupational Therapist
Position Summary:
A candidate should be comfortable working as part of a team and have strong oral and written communication skills. Candidates should also have experience in the following areas: evaluating students using a variety of assessments writing reports writing goals, IEPs, and 504s providing services in both inclusion and pull-out settings working with students with a variety of disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
Identification of children who require Occupational Therapy in the Winthrop Public Schools. Screening, assessment and development of assessment reports and Individualized Educational Plans for children qualifying for Occupational Therapy services. Provide direct and consultation Occupational Therapy services to students who have Individual Education Plans and 504s. Timely completion of all paperwork, including but not limited to documentation required for IEPs, team meetings, progress reports, billing/logging, and departmental paperwork. Deliver Occupational Therapy services throughout the Winthrop Public Schools.
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in a school setting is preferred. Experience working with children with special education needs is preferred. Experience in assessment and development of high quality Individualized Educational Plans preferred. Demonstrate good organizational skills and ability to meet timelines. Appropriate licensure required. At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Master degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

$54,744.50 to $100,871 Per Year
