Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' growth and success for the upcoming school year! This full-time contract opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist begins in November and offers a chance to make a meaningful difference every day. You'll work in a collaborative, student-centered environment, using your expertise to help students achieve their fullest potential. Your ability to develop creative interventions and personalized strategies will ensure children aren't just reaching goals, but enjoying the process along the way.
Qualifications:
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school setting or strong pediatric background Strong knowledge of IEPs and experience contributing to the IEP process Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to assess and adapt activities to meet students' diverse needs Flexibility, resourcefulness, and a problem-solving mindset
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students requiring occupational therapy Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with students' academic and functional needs Implement both direct and consultative services for a diverse caseload Collaborate with teachers and support staff to embed strategies within the classroom Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners The position offers a welcoming and team-oriented workplace where your voice is valued, alongside a predictable schedule so you can achieve a positive work-life balance.
