Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role as a dedicated occupational therapist supporting students near Ocean City, MD. This full-time, contract position begins in November and offers a rewarding experience working within a collaborative school environment. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact, helping children and adolescents develop the skills they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications/Experience:
Active and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Maryland Previous experience providing therapy in school-based settings Strong familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals Effective communication skills to work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage a diverse caseload and flexibly adapt therapy plans Compassionate, patient-centered approach, passionate about supporting the growth of students
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for students requiring OT services Develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills Implement direct therapy in classroom and one-on-one settings Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document all sessions according to district guidelines Consult with educators and families to ensure strategies are supported across school and home environments Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP planning and reviews
