Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Maine Occupational Therapy (OT) license required Previous experience in school-based OT roles highly desirable Strong communication skills and adaptability in multi-setting environments Commitment to fostering student independence in both academic and life skills Ability to organize and manage a caseload of up to 30 students

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct OT services to students per IEPs, focusing on adaptive skills development Craft individualized intervention plans to address students unique needs Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to maximize student progress and generalization of skills Travel between two school sitesconveniently less than half a mile apartto deliver seamless support Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student evaluation meetings as needed Engage in ongoing communication with school teams regarding student performance and needs
