Occupational Therapist School Setting in Swartz Creek, MI

Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role providing occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers through a dedicated Birth to Three Home Visiting Program. This full-time contract position runs for approximately 12 weeks, beginning November 13, 2026, offering 40 hours weekly, scheduled from 8 AM to 4 PM. Your expertise will help empower families and support children's developmental milestones through early intervention.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan Experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings preferred Strong background in early intervention or pediatric therapy, especially with children aged birth to three Ability to deliver individualized therapy while collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams Effective communication, documentation, and time management skills
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services through home visits tailored to each child's needs Conduct assessments and contribute to developing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) Work closely with family members, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure progress in motor, sensory, and daily living skills Maintain organized documentation and comply with program standards and timelines Engage in regular communication with program coordinators and participate in required team meetings This position includes scheduled breaks: no work required Wednesday through Friday of Thanksgiving week, and two full weeks off for the winter holidays (December 21, 2026, to January 3, 2027), allowing for valuable rest and flexibility during the contract.
