Qualifications and Experience:

Active Occupational Therapy license, meeting state requirements Previous experience in school-based settings, preferably with Pre-K through 6th grade populations Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of IEP documentation and ability to contribute to special education strategies Adaptability to provide services on an as-needed (PRN) basis Experience with sensory integration, fine motor skills, and adaptive techniques preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students, supporting academic and developmental goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized plans Contribute to IEP development by setting appropriate goals and documenting progress in compliance with school and federal requirements Adapt and modify classroom materials and the environment to support student engagement and independence Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide training or guidance on OT strategies to school staff Manage a flexible schedule to respond to students' needs as required on a PRN basis
