The Pediatric Occupational Therapy position is to take over a 30 hour OT position from mid October to January. Therapist may stay on for continued work as a part time therapist. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs. The OT will develop individualized treatment plans, establish measurable goals, provide evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with families and other professionals to promote independence and participation in meaningful daily activities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations. Develop individualized plans of care and measurable treatment goals. Provide direct occupational therapy services in clinic, school, and/or community settings.

Address areas including:

Fine and gross motor development Sensory processing and regulation Activities of daily living and self-care Visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills Handwriting and school-related skills Executive functioning Play and social participation Functional participation and independence Provide family education and home-program recommendations. Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, SLPs, physicians, and other professionals. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate. Complete evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, re-evaluations, and plans of care accurately and within required timelines. Maintain appropriate communication with families and members of the interdisciplinary team. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development. Maintain compliance with company policies, HIPAA, Mississippi regulations, payer requirements, and professional standards.

Pay:

$41.26 - $49.69 per hour
