Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract position delivering school-based occupational therapy services near Potts Camp, MS, with the opportunity to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This rewarding role begins September 9, 2026, and runs through June 30, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week. You'll provide therapy across four school sites—with two conveniently located just minutes apart—serving a caseload of approximately 25 students as part of a collaborative approach with another provider.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active and current Occupational Therapist license for MS Prior experience in school-based OT settings preferred Proficiency in evaluating and managing pediatric therapy needs across a wide age and ability spectrum Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to travel between multiple nearby sites as needed Reliable organizational and documentation skills to maintain IEP compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students from Pre-K to 12, addressing a range of developmental, fine motor, sensory, and self-care goals Participate in IEP meetings, write goals, and provide input on student needs and progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Maintain timely and accurate session notes, progress reports, and required documentation Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of a diverse caseload in multiple school environments Support transitions between school sites as assigned within a manageable travel radius This contract offers the opportunity to engage with a supportive educational community, gain varied experience, and make a lasting difference in the lives of students.
