This contract Occupational Therapist role offers 30 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of October.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and other specialists Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and therapeutic interventions for school-aged children

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Develop and implement creative therapy activities that support students participation in classroom routines and school life Provide consultative support to teachers and staff for student accommodations and equipment Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required reports in a timely manner Collaborate closely with families, school teams, and other professionals to promote student growth and overall well-being This position offers a fantastic work-life balance with a consistent daytime schedule over a set, manageable contract period.
