Qualifications & Experience:

Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families Ability to develop and implement creative, individualized treatment plans Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with special education requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students needs and abilities using standardized tests and observations Design and deliver school-based occupational therapy services tailored to student needs Support academic achievement and participation in daily school activities by addressing sensory, motor, and adaptive challenges Maintain accurate records and document student progress Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and advocating for student needs Consult with school staff and parents to support student success both in and out of the classroom This contract assignment offers the prospect to make a genuine difference in students school experiences, working alongside dedicated professionals who value innovation and empathy.
