Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active OT license in North Carolina (or willing to obtain) Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatric therapy preferred Sound understanding of IEPs and documentation requirements Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Adaptability and creativity in therapeutic approaches

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and areas for development Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Develop and deliver engaging interventions to support functional skills for school participation Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for each student
