Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for skilled Occupational Therapists to provide valuable support to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract role starts as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Qualifications and Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license, ready for immediate start Experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health occupational therapy is strongly desired Ability to support students' development by collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with delivering services in group and individual settings, adapting techniques for diverse learning needs Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Commitment to supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment across various age groups
Key Responsibilities:
Provide both direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school Design, implement, and track individualized therapy plans to address students' developmental and academic goals Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure student success Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations as part of the student support team Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with regulatory requirements Contribute to school-wide initiatives which may include screenings, staff training, and awareness campaigns This is a fantastic chance to make a positive difference in students' lives while partnering with an engaged and welcoming school community.
