Qualifications & Experience:

Valid state Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience providing OT services within a school environment strongly preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and documentation requirements Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, parents, and other stakeholders Team player, flexible with a positive, proactive approach

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and support staff to adapt classroom materials and provide resources Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations Educate staff and families on strategies to support students functional independence and participation in school activities
