Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await for an Occupational Therapist passionate about enhancing students' abilities and independence in educational settings! Step into a vital role serving students across two supportive school communities in the beautiful region near Walpole, NH. In this flexible contract position for the 2026/2027 school year, you'll make a direct impact by working with students from diverse backgrounds and collaborating with fellow professionals.
Position Highlights:
Work four days per week, splitting your time between two welcoming districts—two days at each location Serve approximately 30 hours per week, creating a manageable and consistent schedule Deliver school-based occupational therapy services tailored to student goals, IEPs, and individual needs Engage with multidisciplinary teams including educators, families, and specialists to foster student progress and success
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for appropriate licensure as a school OT Previous experience in pediatric or school-based OT settings highly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills with a collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and families Ability to manage a flexible caseload across two settings and support a variety of age groups
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine needs and design effective treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services individualized to student requirements Maintain timely and accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development and meetings Provide staff and family education to support carryover and generalization of skills Play a proactive role in school teams to support universally accessible learning environments Take a meaningful next step in your OT career while enjoying a balanced schedule and a welcoming community.
