Role requirements and needed skills:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey, or eligibility for NJ licensure Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Compassion, patience, and a passion for empowering students with diverse needs Ability to adapt to new settings and quickly integrate into different school cultures Key responsibilities: Evaluate and treat students with various developmental, physical, or emotional challenges Create and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with school staff and families Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings Contribute insights to IEPs and support compliance with educational goals Engage students through creative, evidence-based interventions Take advantage of enticing travel perks, comprehensive medical coverage, retirement planning support, and the chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic new region.
