Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy professionals to join our team.
Opportunities are available for:
Occupational Therapists (OT) - $435 per shift Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) - $262.50 per shift
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and/or treat patients according to their individual plan of care and professional scope of practice
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, communication, swallowing, daily living skills, and overall independence, as appropriate to discipline
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, safety, and strategies for continued improvement
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow facility policies, professional standards, and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and quality of care at all times
  • Assist patients in reaching their highest practical level of function and independence
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Current license or certification for the applicable discipline.
  • Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Patient-focused and compassionate approach to care.
  • Ability to accurately document treatments and patient progress.
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques, safety standards, and professional scope of practice.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, outpatient, or similar healthcare settings is a plus.
  • At least one year of experience
Pay:
$262.50 - $435.00 per day
