Job Description
Opportunities are available for:
Occupational Therapists (OT) - $435 per shift Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) - $262.50 per shiftResponsibilities:
- Evaluate and/or treat patients according to their individual plan of care and professional scope of practice
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, communication, swallowing, daily living skills, and overall independence, as appropriate to discipline
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, safety, and strategies for continued improvement
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow facility policies, professional standards, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and quality of care at all times
- Assist patients in reaching their highest practical level of function and independence
Skills & Qualifications:
- Current license or certification for the applicable discipline.
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Patient-focused and compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to accurately document treatments and patient progress.
- Knowledge of therapy techniques, safety standards, and professional scope of practice.
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, outpatient, or similar healthcare settings is a plus.
- At least one year of experience
