Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and development in a school-based setting. This position focuses on delivering occupational therapy services for Pre-K through 5th-grade students over a defined contract period. Your expertise will play a key role in enhancing student success and contributing positively to their educational journey.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings Familiarity with IEP documentation and processes Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt and tailor strategies to meet the diverse needs of young learners

Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services for a PreK-3 caseload of students Deliver consultative support for 8 additional K-5 students, collaborating with teachers and support staff Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans Support classroom participation, fine motor skills development, sensory integration, and self-regulation Attend and contribute to team meetings, IEP discussions, and student progress reviews Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required records in compliance with school standards Offer guidance, resources, and training to staff and families as appropriate
