Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract role supporting students in elementary and middle school settings. This full-time leave position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of November, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant school community. Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to provide essential occupational therapy services, ensuring students have every opportunity to succeed. Ideal candidates excel at delivering both direct and consultative OT support in school environments. You'll benefit from an organized setting where collaboration and effective communication are highly valued. From evaluating student needs to helping implement individualized interventions, your expertise will be a vital part of the education team.
Qualifications required:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Ohio (OT OH License) Current ODE (Ohio Department of Education) certification Prior experience with school-based OT services across elementary and/or middle school populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to varying caseload needs within the academic setting Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive OT assessments and develop treatment plans for students Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services Document all services and progress in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Educate staff and families on strategies to support student development This opportunity includes weekly pay—covering both direct and indirect hours—along with robust benefits such as multiple health insurance plan options, life insurance, and 401(k) plan options with company matching.
