Job Summary Hand Center of Oregon, Inc. is seeking a therapist to work with us part time.

Hand Center of Oregon, Inc. is a private hand therapy clinic in Tualatin, OR. It was established almost 22 years ago by two certified hand therapists. The clinic opened its doors in an effort to maintain their standard of quality care; one which continues to give people hope where there was none before.

The opening is for a part time position. The therapist will be working with friendly staff, other experienced certified hand therapists and a certified occupational therapy assistant. Each therapist works one-on-one with their patients, usually for almost an hour. This is to better promote a caring atmosphere and to allow therapists to get to know each patient they are treating individually. Here, we put our patient's needs first by focusing on the quality of each therapy session, rather than the quantity of patients seen per day. Therapists may treat up to 8-9 patients per day (typically 8-9 hour days). Therapists will conduct evaluations, propose treatment plans and goals, make custom splints, utilize manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, and measure progress towards goals to determine the effectiveness of their treatment plan Qualifications and Skills Must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy Must have current occupational/physical therapy licensure in the State of Oregon. For out of state or expired licenses, applicants must be able to obtain occupational/physical therapy licensure within the State of Oregon before hire date Certified Hand Therapist applicants are strongly preferred, but therapists who also have experience with hand patients will also be accepted. Therapists must be familiar with making dynamic and static orthotics Hand Center of Oregon, Inc. utilizes an electronic health records system and applicants are expected to have basic computer skills

$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
