Job Description

About us Grace Rehabilitation Center, Inc. is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work Full time or Part time in McMinn County and Etowah City Schools. This job requires you to have an Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree and TN COTA License to apply. You must live locally, no time for relocation. We have a full caseload of wonderful kids who need you to help them reach their full potential. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our patients, and our employees. We contract with the school system which will allow you to treat kids one-on-one and is less stressful than working directly for a school treating many groups.
Our work environment includes:
Casual work attire Relaxed atmosphere On-the-job training Flexible working hours Growth opportunities The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evaluations and occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in the school system. Other responsibilities include supervision of occupational therapist assistants. The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational and rehabilitation medicine, as well as the ability to provide compassionate care to children.
Responsibilities:
Providing occupational therapy evaluations to children in a school setting. Evaluate and plan the development of individualized treatment plans for the kids. Provide instruction on the use of therapeutic exercise and equipment to COTAs. Monitor patient progress and provide feedback. Provide education to patients and families on the importance of occupational therapy. Provide support to patients with pediatric occupational therapy needs.
Pay:
$40.00 - $48.00 per hour
