Qualifications & Experience:

Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) At least one year of recent experience working as an OT in a school setting Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and related service providers CSA on file (required prior to assignment start) Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working with diverse student populations from elementary through high school

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for students in accordance with IEP goals and district standards Provide direct therapy services to students, promoting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and participation in classroom activities Complete required documentation, progress notes, and maintain accurate records in a timely manner Work closely with teachers, families, and staff to support student success and adapt environments or materials as needed Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as an OT specialist This contract role offers the chance to work a full-time schedule throughout the school year (FSY), making a genuine difference in the lives of young learners while advancing your professional experience as a school-based OT.
