Job Description

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract Remote Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) A great school district in Texas is now hiring a Remote Occupational Therapist (OT) for a current, full-time opportunity. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with both school-based and virtual experience to make a meaningful impact on students' development and educational success. Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and services to support students' educational and developmental needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals. Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting. Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional school-related skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning as needed.
Experience:
Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting is required. Virtual or teletherapy experience is required. Experience supporting students with diverse developmental and educational needs is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are essential.
Education:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy. Active Texas Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure. Any additional school-based credentials or certifications required by the district. Soliant offers licensing assistance if you are not yet licensed in Texas.
