Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Provide essential occupational therapy support in a dynamic school environment, serving K-10 students one day per week. This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to deliver direct therapy and evaluations to a manageable caseload of approximately four students, including a few children on the autism spectrum. Focus exclusively on articulation and fluency, helping each student achieve meaningful progress in their school experience. Teletherapy is not required; all services will be delivered on-site. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to assess needs, set goals, and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) strategies for students. Your expertise will help foster communication, independence, and academic growth, particularly for those requiring specialized support. To be considered, please meet the following qualifications: Current Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of Texas Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and communication abilities Commitment to working with diverse student populations, including those on the autism spectrum Ability to provide on-site therapy services (teletherapy not available for this role)
