Job Description

Job Summary ($2500 Sign on Bonus!!!!) We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient-centered care, with expertise across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, home health, schools, and skilled nursing facilities. The Licensed Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing personalized care plans, and supporting individuals of all ages in achieving their maximum functional independence. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing activities of daily living (ADLs), motor skills, and functional independence. Assist patients with ADLs such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote autonomy and quality of life. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions across care settings. Experience Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas is required. Masters degree or greater in Occupational therapy. Prior experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or intensive care units (ICU) is highly desirable. In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards. Skilled nursing facility experience or post-acute care background is preferred. Familiarity with outpatient clinics, home health services, and clinic-based therapy is advantageous. Knowledge of speech therapy principles can be beneficial but is not mandatory; collaboration with speech-language pathologists is common in comprehensive patient care. Strong case management skills combined with the ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual goals are essential for success in this role. $39.00 - $48.00 per hour
