This contract position centers around working with three students, each receiving personalized O&M services tailored to their unique needs. Qualifications and Experience:

Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) required Experience delivering both direct and consultative O&M services in school settings preferred Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families Current knowledge of O&M best practices and relevant regulations Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to student needs

Your Responsibilities:

Provide direct O&M instruction: Student 1: 30 minutes, three times a month Student 3: 30 minutes, three times a month Deliver consultative/indirect services: Student 2: 20 minutes, once a month Student 3: 15 minutes, once a month Assess students' mobility needs and develop individualized lesson plans Collaborate with school personnel and families to support student progress Maintain detailed service records and progress reports Support student growth, fostering safe and effective mobility within and outside the school environment As a trusted O&M specialist in this contract role, your skills can directly enhance the educational experience and daily living skills for these students.
